• Supports veteran’s programs that our veterans not only deserve, but that they have earned. • Helped to create the Troops to Teachers Program to aid in transitioning retiring military personnel into teaching careers – lead House cosponsor of legislation to improve the program and ensure • Votes to improve financial, health, housing and education programs for our veterans. • Supported successful efforts to reform “concurrent receipt” so that military retirees can keep military pension and disability compensation benefits. |
